Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting and less scary.

MY MISSION

People do better when they feel better about themselves.  I aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment for children and families to be able to work through their struggles, both big and small. As a therapist that specializes in working with children and teenagers, I utilize the people that are most important in that child's life to bring about change in a sustainable way.  This means that while I'm a "Child Therapist" I require family/caregiver participation in our sessions; I believe that children are mostly likely to positively change when they feel supported by the ones that mean the most to them in life.

When working with adults, I approach individuals as a part of their family system, larger environment, and place, as I believe that where we come from and who we are around now inform our current state of being.

My goal is always to work myself out of a job; I aspire to help clients and families feel more confident, competent, and back-on-track so they can go and live life well.
